The Defence Headquarters says Nigerian troops arrested 100 suspects, rescued 29 kidnapped victims, neutralised dozens of terrorists, and destroyed 20 illegal refineries within one week.
Major General Michael Onoja disclosed this while briefing journalists in Abuja.
He said the operations covered the North-East, North-West, North-Central, South-South, and South-East zones.
“Our troops neutralised scores of terrorists, arrested over 90 criminals, and rescued more than 30 abducted persons,” Onoja said.
According to him, In Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe, troops under Operation Hadin Kai killed insurgents and arrested seven informants.
He said that air strikes eliminated dozens of fighters in Damboa and Abadam.
Onoja noted that “terrorist logistics and command structures were severely degraded.”

Aording to him, in Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kaduna, troops arrested 10 bandits and rescued seven victims.
”Operations in Plateau and Kaduna led to the arrest of 39 suspects.
”The military also recovered $4,500 from cattle rustlers.
”Under Operation Whirl Stroke, 11 kidnappers were arrested and six victims rescued.
”In the Niger Delta, 31 oil thieves were arrested and 20 refineries destroyed,” he revealed.
The DDMO revealed that eight Cameroonians were rescued in Cross River, while 80 militants surrendered.
“The surrender of 80 militants reflects growing trust in government programmes,” Onoja said.
He urged continued public support for security operations.
