Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Betta Edu, has congratulated Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on his 67th birthday, praising his administration’s focus on citizens’ welfare and inclusive development.
Edu, who is the Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, said the governor’s People First Agenda reflected a commitment to placing the needs of residents at the centre of government policies and programmes.
She commended Otu’s leadership and efforts to promote public welfare, expand development opportunities and improve the living conditions of people across the state.
In her birthday message, Edu expressed hope that the governor would continue to receive the wisdom, strength and good health needed to lead Cross River State.
“Happy 67th birthday to my Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu. May God grant you many more years of good health, fulfilment and purposeful service to Cross River State,” she said.
She also prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection for the governor as he carries on with his responsibilities.
