Musa celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, hails her compassion, support for Armed Forces

The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), has congratulated the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a beacon of hope, grace and compassion.
Musa, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Leah Katung-Babatunde, on Monday, extended the felicitations on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and his family.
The minister commended the First Lady for her dedicated service, leadership and support for President Bola Tinubu, noting that her efforts continued to inspire millions of Nigerians.
He particularly praised her initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities, empowering women and youths, and promoting social welfare through the Renewed Hope Initiative.
“Her Excellency’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities, empowering women and youths, and championing social welfare through the Renewed Hope Initiative has left a profound impact on our country’s socio-economic landscape,” Musa stated.
He also described her motherly guidance, wisdom and advocacy for peace and national unity as invaluable to the country.
The minister further commended the First Lady’s support for officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces and their families, highlighting her empathy and encouragement for personnel serving on the frontlines to protect the nation.
“As Her Excellency celebrates another year of God’s grace and abundant blessings, we pray that Almighty God grants her robust health, long life, divine wisdom, and renewed strength to continue her noble work alongside the Commander-in-Chief in steering Nigeria toward peace, security, and prosperity,” he added.
Musa said the Ministry of Defence joined the First Family, friends, well-wishers and Nigerians in wishing the First Lady a memorable birthday celebration and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
