Says Imo’s Future Needs Courageous Leadership

As political activities ahead of the 2027 elections begin to gather pace, calls have intensified for visionary and people-centred leadership in Imo State.
Comrade Ezinwa Nwoko Chikwado has urged the people of Ahiazu, Owerri Zone and the entire state to support leaders with vision, courage and integrity.

In a political message, Chikwado described Barr. Chidimma Sylvia Mbachu-Okechuwu as a leader committed to development, peace and inclusive governance.
He said she has consistently demonstrated compassion, dedication and commitment to youth empowerment, women inclusion, education and community development.

According to him, her contributions across communities in Ahiazu Mbaise and Owerri Zone have inspired hope and optimism among residents.
He described her as “a strong voice for the voiceless and a symbol of courage, unity, and community advancement.”

Chikwado further stated that Mbachu-Okechuwu represents a new generation of leadership founded on accountability, transparency and service.
He noted that her vision includes empowering youths and women, promoting quality representation, supporting education and entrepreneurship, and advancing peace and sustainable development.

”The future belongs to leaders with courage, purpose, vision, and sincerity—leaders who listen, understand, and take meaningful action,” he stated.
Calling for support ahead of the 2027 elections, the author said Imo people should unite behind leaders capable of delivering progress and a brighter future.
