The Anambra State Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with security stakeholders as part of efforts to enhance safety and security across the state.
This followed a courtesy visit by the leadership of the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS), Anambra State Command, to the Police Command Headquarters in Awka on Friday.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the visit is part of the command’s sustained all-inclusive operational strategy aimed at fostering stronger partnerships with relevant security agencies in tackling crime and criminality.
Speaking on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Ibrahim Ezekiel, welcomed the delegation and reiterated the command’s commitment to proactive policing.
He urged the Nigeria Forest Security Service to continue supporting lawful security operations by providing credible and timely intelligence to aid crime prevention and detection.

Leader of the NFSS delegation, Mazi Destiny Jonas, commended the police command for its proactive approach to security and assured the police of the service’s readiness to collaborate with the Police and other security agencies in promoting peace and public safety across Anambra State.
Both organisations pledged to deepen cooperation, strengthen operational coordination and sustain stakeholder engagement in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police for a safer Nigeria.
