The President-general of Association of Non-indigenes Welfare in Anambra (ANISA-ANIAS), Chief Great Ikechukwu Ugwuoke has extolled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the elevation of Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the wife of former Governor of the defunct Eastern Region, the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu from the post of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs to full Minister for Foreign Affairs. In a goodwill message to the President, Chief Ugwuoke observed that Tinubu has proved he’d a detribalized Nigerian who is committed to giving all ethnic, political and religious groups a sense of belonging in his administration. Ugwuoke noted that Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu belongs to All Progressives Grand Alliance (APC) while the President’s ruling party is All Progressives Congress (APC), yet the President found her worthy to occupy a sensitive position of the country’s foreign policies and image management. He noted that the elevation takes into account resounding accomplishments of the former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. The PG of non-indigenes resident in Anambra State described Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu as a great Ambassador of ANISA-ANIAS, being its Trustee member. He pointed out that the group looks forward to a more robust image boosting of the country through partnership and collaboration with Africa and international community.
According to him, the elevation of Ambassador Odumegwu Ojukwu to full Minister of Foreign Affairs boosts the image of Anambra State, South-East zone and Nigeria

The President-general of ANISA-ANIAS expressed confidence that Amb.Odumegwu Ojukwu will deliver on the mandate with focus, zeal and commitment. He pointed out that Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s numerous services to the country in such capacities including Nigeria’s one-time Ambassador to Spain was well-deserving. Ugwuoke congratulated Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on her elevation as new Minister of Foreign Affairs, urging her to see the elevation as a renewed mandate fir higher service to humanity. Ugwuoke called on well- meaning citizens to give the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb.Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu the necessary support to enable her excel in her new assignment .
