The Nigeria Police Force has moved into high gear for the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA 2026), following a strategic two-day conference and facility inspection in Asaba, Delta State.
The sessions, held from January 16 to 17, 2026, focused on finalizing preparations for the games, which are scheduled to take place from February 7 to February 14, 2026, under the theme: “Beyond The Badge: Excellence In Action.”

Led by AIG Fom Pam Joseph, Chairman of the Force Sports Planning Committee, the delegation refined operational strategies, logistics, and inter-agency coordination. Prominent attendees included AIG Suleiman Abdul, CP Dantawaye Miller, CP Hassan Gwani, CP Osifo Emefiele, and the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Aina Adesola.

Key areas of focus during the deliberations included:

Medical Services: Finalizing healthcare support for participants.

Following the strategic meetings, the committee conducted an on-the-spot assessment of various sporting facilities across Asaba. They evaluated infrastructure quality and safety standards to ensure the environment is optimal for athletes and officials arriving from police commands nationwide.
The Planning Committee expressed confidence in the steady progress of preparations, promising a safe and orderly event that adheres to international best practices.

BIPOGA 2026 aims to strengthen unity, fitness, and discipline within the Nigeria Police Force while demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship that extends beyond traditional duties.
