ASABA – Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has sent warm birthday wishes to Justice Rosaline Patricia Irorefe Bozimo, OFR, as she celebrates her 80th anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor described the former Chief Judge and erstwhile NJI Administrator as a “trailblazer and symbol of integrity” whose contributions to the Nigerian judiciary remain enduring.
Governor Oborevwori noted that Justice Bozimo’s career on the Bench was marked by diligence, courage, and a deep commitment to the rule of law. As Chief Judge of Delta State, she played a vital role in strengthening the administration of justice and upholding judicial independence.
The Governor also highlighted her historic service as Administrator of the National Judicial Institute (NJI), where she significantly improved the training and ethical standards of judges nationwide. He acknowledged her broader impact on nation-building, referencing her national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
Calling her a role model for legal practitioners and women, the Governor said, “On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I celebrate our revered former Chief Judge. Her life exemplifies excellence and selfless service.”
Governor Oborevwori concluded by praying for continued grace, good health, and peace for the octogenarian in her years ahead.
