The Anambra State Government has strengthened security operations across the state with the donation of 30 Toyota Hilux patrol vehicles to the Anambra State Police Command, as 28 newly commissioned Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of
Anambra origin were formally presented to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
The presentation, which took place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Old Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, underscores the state government’s sustained commitment to enhancing public safety and supporting security agencies.
Presenting the vehicles, Governor Soludo said the gesture reflects his administration’s resolve to improve policing capacity, boost rapid response, and ensure the safety of lives and property across Anambra State. He noted that effective security remains a critical pillar for sustainable development.

While receiving the officers, Governor Soludo charged them to uphold professionalism, discipline, and integrity, urging them to live up to Anambra State’s motto by being “a Light to the Nation” through exemplary service.
He emphasized that dedication to duty and ethical conduct are essential to sustaining peace and security.
