In recognition of outstanding dedication to public service and exemplary leadership, the Love of Christ Bible College and Theological Seminary has conferred its Distinguished Public Service and Leadership Excellence Award on the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin.
The honour was presented on Saturday at the institution’s 11th Bible College Convocation ceremony held at Mercy Camp, Makogi, Magboro in Ogun State.
Presenting the award, the College described Abolurin as a shining example of diligence, professionalism and selfless service, noting that his contributions to public communication and community engagement within the security sector have strengthened trust between citizens and law enforcement agencies.
According to the institution, the Distinguished Public Service and Leadership Excellence Award recognises individuals whose commitment to excellence and integrity has positively impacted society and advanced national development.
The College further stated that the honour reflects its commitment to celebrating role models who embody ethical leadership and service to humanity.
In his response,
Abolurin expressed appreciation to the institution for the recognition, dedicating the award to the leadership and personnel of the Lagos State Command of the Civil Defence Corps, while reaffirming his commitment to professionalism and responsible public communication.
The 11th Convocation ceremony drew clergy, academics, graduating students, and invited guests from across the country, marking another milestone in the College’s mission of raising leaders grounded in faith, service, and excellence.
