The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has recorded significant operational and institutional milestones within the first 100 days of Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke’s tenure as Chief of the Air Staff.

Under the leadership of Air Marshal Aneke, the Service has strengthened its combat readiness, intensified the tempo of air operations, and reinforced mission support structures in what observers describe as a deliberate push toward effectiveness, accountability and strategic clarity.

A 10-minute documentary released to highlight the achievements details improvements in aircraft availability, targeted infrastructure upgrades across key formations, enhanced personnel welfare initiatives, and a renewed emphasis on mission-driven training and operational preparedness.
According to the NAF, these strides reflect a coordinated effort to align operational capabilities with national security priorities, while building a more resilient and responsive force capable of addressing evolving security challenges.

The Service noted that the progress recorded within the short period underscores a disciplined start marked by measurable results, institutional reforms and forward-looking leadership.

As the Nigerian Air Force consolidates its role as a decisive instrument of air power in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity, the first 100 days under Air Marshal Aneke are seen as laying a solid foundation for sustained transformation and operational dominance in the months ahead.
