Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have recorded fresh operational gains against insurgents across the North-East theatre under Operation Desert Sanity V.
In a statement signed by the Media Information Officer, Sani Uba, the Joint Task Force said troops sustained offensive pressure on terrorist elements and recovered arms and logistics.

According to the statement, troops in Sector 2 working with the Civilian Joint Task Force neutralised scores of terrorists during a night operation around Muktum and Ngirbuwa villages.
Two AK-47 rifles, three motorcycles and several mobile phones were recovered during the raid.

“Further exploitation along the terrorists’ withdrawal route revealed drag marks and a shallow grave, indicating additional enemy casualties,” the statement said.
Similarly, troops of Sector 1 engaged fleeing insurgents along the Bulayobe–Darel Jamel axis as they attempted to cross a major supply route.

The criminals reportedly fled, abandoning two sacks containing assorted logistics items suspected to belong to terrorist fighters.
The military noted that while the security situation remains calm but unpredictable, troops continue to dominate their areas of responsibility.

Headquarters Operation Hadin Kai reaffirmed its commitment to sustain pressure on Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters until lasting peace and economic stability return to the North-East.
