His subsequent appointment as Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, placed him at the helm of one of the country’s most challenging police commands, requiring firmness, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of the security needs of a vast and dynamic metropolis.
His career has continued to advance with service as Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Police Command, and now as Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
