Governor Chukwuma Soludo has charged newly appointed commissioners in Anambra State to brace for sacrifice, hard work and strict accountability, declaring that public office must never be seen as an avenue for personal celebration.
The governor gave the charge while inaugurating 18 new commissioners and key government appointees, reminding them that every decision they make would directly affect the lives and welfare of over nine million residents of the state.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Soludo stressed that the appointments were a call to service and rigorous responsibility, urging the new cabinet members to justify the confidence reposed in them through impactful governance and commitment to the people.
