Preparations are in top gear for a unique multiple wedding ceremony involving nine children of the Minister of State for Defence, Alhaji Bello Matawalle, scheduled to hold in Abuja next month.
Details of the forthcoming ceremony became public following the circulation of a wedding invitation card on social media, sparking widespread public interest due to the scale and timing of the event.

According to information on the invitation, the wedding will take place on February 6 at the Abuja Central Mosque, with proceedings expected to commence at 1:30 p.m.
The children set to be joined in marriage on the same day are Ibrahim, Suraj, Safiya, Maryam, Aisha, Fahad, Muhammad, Nana Firdausi and Farida.
Confirming the development, the All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesperson in Zamfara State, Mr. Yusuf Idris, disclosed that the celebrants include five sons and four daughters of the minister.
Idris, who is also a member of the organising committee, said preparations for the ceremony had reached an advanced stage, assuring that all arrangements were being carefully coordinated to ensure a smooth and hitch-free event.
“By the grace of God, the wedding will take place at the Abuja Central Mosque on February 6,” he said. “The nine children, five males and four females will be getting married on the same day, and preparations are progressing very well.”
The ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries, political associates, family members and well-wishers from across the country.
