“…Beyond the Veil” Webinar Draws Government Support
In a bold push for positive change among young adults and youth, with parents as lead change makers, Lois Otse Adams, Founder of Udukhotse Foundation and Co-founder of the Administration of Authors-in-School Creative Club, alongside her team, is set to engage young people globally in a conversation for change. Adams has, over the years, dedicated her life to transforming young people from both rural and urban schools. The June edition, themed _BEYOND THE VEIL: Realities of Social Ills_, is coming at a crucial time when those caught in social vices and those who perpetrate evil by taking innocent lives are being considered to be charged and sentenced to death by hanging.
This impactful conversation is designed to help young people understand the far-reaching consequences of moral decline and the social challenges affecting our society today. Adams, who lamented the incessant killings of innocent citizens and the wasteful lifestyle of future leaders, has designed a social space for healthy gathering, where issues across various aspects will be revealed, in furtherance of a sane society.

“Let us have honest conversations about the social ills hiding in plain sight: kidnapping, drug abuse, peer pressure, cyber fraud, mental health challenges, and more,” she stated, noting that the voices of young people, parents and members of society matter, while adding that their choices also matter. She stated that there is hope for a better society, and it begins with open and sincere dialogue.
She further stated that the conversation will not be complete without the presence of parents, guardians, and political office holders, calling for their presence to listen to young adults speak, learn to guide, and share their perspectives, and becoming part of the solution. The webinar, geared towards guiding the next generation toward a brighter future, will hold on Saturday 27th June, 2026, at 8:00pm on the widely circulated Google Meet platform.
Lois who made a bold statement that beyond the veil of silence comes the light of solutions is a versatile creative, a product of Mass Communication, an academic and community development partner.
