The atmosphere turned festive yesterday as a massive crowd of supporters gathered to witness the official e-registration of the immediate past Governor of Enugu State and ambassadorial nominee, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Accompanied by an enthusiastic procession of well-wishers, music, and fanfare, Ugwuanyi visited his ward in Ohom, Orba, within the Udenu Local Government Area, to complete his formal enrollment in the party.

Visibly moved by the high turnout and display of solidarity, Ugwuanyi described the experience as humbling. The event drew several notable figures, including Enugu State Government officials, a member of the State House of Assembly, and the Chairmen of Udenu and Igbo Eze South Local Government Areas, Hon. Aka Eze Aka and Barr. Ferdinand Ugwueze, alongside various party stakeholders.

Addressing the crowd, Ugwuanyi emphasized the APC’s commitment to inclusivity, assuring members that both the party and the government are dedicated to involving everyone in governance. He reaffirmed his personal commitment to unity and inclusive leadership, while also declaring his total support for Governor Peter Mbah’s administration in the state.
