The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) under its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Service’s National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, said candidates should visit the official NCS recruitment portal and selected national newspapers to confirm their recruitment status.
Maiwada disclosed that successful candidates would receive additional instructions through their registered email addresses and SMS notifications to proceed with the next phase of the exercise.
He said all successful applicants must upload valid Medical Certificates of Fitness issued by government-recognised hospitals through the designated recruitment portal.
”The portal for uploading Medical Certificates of Fitness will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates are expected to complete the process within one week,” the statement said.
The Service also directed candidates to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offers of appointment before awaiting the issuance of their Trainee Identification Numbers.
According to the statement, details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and other requirements, will be communicated through official NCS channels.
The Customs Service warned that failure to comply with the prescribed procedures or timelines would attract disqualification and the forfeiture of the provisional appointment.
Maiwada conveyed the congratulations of the Comptroller-General of Customs and the Nigeria Customs Service Board to all successful candidates, urging them to uphold professionalism, integrity and dedication as they prepare to join the Service.
