The Defence Headquarters has unveiled the official portrait of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General O.O. Oluyede, urging members of the press to update their records and discontinue the use of earlier photographs.
In a brief statement to media organisations, the Defence Headquarters extended its compliments to journalists for their professionalism and cooperation, noting that the updated portrait represents the official image of the CDS for all future publications and references.
The statement read in part: “Members of the press are kindly requested to update their databases and cease the use of any previous portraits of the Chief of Defence Staff. We sincerely appreciate your continued cooperation and support.”
The Defence Headquarters reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining cordial relations with the media and promoting transparency in national defence communications.
