Elumelu Celebrates Chief Nkem Okwuofu on Birthday, Commends Her Legacy of Service

The Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives and APC flag bearer for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated elder stateswoman and prominent political leader, Chief Nkem Okwuofu (Agunwanyi), on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Elumelu described Chief Okwuofu as an exceptional leader whose contributions to public service, governance and political development have continued to impact lives and inspire generations across Delta State and beyond.
According to him, the former Commissioner, Chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission and member of the Delta State Advisory Council has distinguished herself through decades of dedicated service, visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the advancement of society.
Elumelu noted that Chief Okwuofu’s wisdom, integrity and exemplary leadership qualities have earned her admiration and respect, while positioning her as a role model for women, youths and emerging leaders.
”Agunwanyi remains one of the finest examples of exemplary leadership and selfless service. Her contributions in various positions of responsibility reflect a lifetime devoted to the progress and well-being of society.
”Beyond public office, she has continued to serve as a mentor, guide and source of inspiration to countless individuals. Her life exemplifies grace, resilience, compassion and a steadfast dedication to the common good,” Elumelu said.
The former lawmaker further joined family members, friends, associates and admirers in celebrating Chief Okwuofu’s accomplishments and enduring contributions to humanity.
”As you celebrate another year today, we thank God for His faithfulness in your life. We celebrate your achievements, your enduring impact and the values you continue to uphold for the benefit of humanity,” he added.
Elumelu prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Chief Okwuofu, wishing her sound health, renewed strength, divine favour and many more years of fruitful service to Delta State, Nigeria and mankind.
