ABUJA – The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, today received nine Deputy Commissioners of Police following their successful completion of the Senior Executive Course (SEC) 47/2025 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
The rigorous program, which commenced in March 2025, concluded on December 13, 2025, equipping the senior officers with advanced policy and strategic leadership skills.

Presentation of Report
During the visit to the Force Headquarters, the officers presented a comprehensive report of their coursework and findings to the IGP. This report outlines strategic recommendations aimed at improving various facets of policing and internal security in Nigeria.
IGP’s Charge to the Officers

In his remarks, IGP Egbetokun congratulated the participants on their academic and professional achievement. He emphasized that the knowledge gained at NIPSS must not remain theoretical but should be integrated into their daily professional duties.
He charged the graduating officers to lead with the new insights they have acquired, stressing that their contributions are vital to further enhancing the efficiency, strategic depth, and overall service delivery of the Nigeria Police Force.
The reception marks another milestone in the Force’s commitment to continuous professional development and high-level leadership training for its senior cadre.
