The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has strengthened the operational capacity of the Eko Strike Force of the Lagos State Police Command with the provision of 4 new operational vehicles.
The vehicles were officially presented by the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, in Lagos.

The intervention was aimed at enhancing the reach, responsiveness, and effectiveness of the Eko Strike Force in tackling crime and maintaining public safety across the state.
The donation forms part of LSSTF’s ongoing efforts to support security agencies with critical logistics and equipment required for improved policing and rapid response to security threats.
In his remarks, CP Jimoh lauded the Lagos State Security Trust Fund for its consistent and strategic support to the Police and other security agencies in the state. He emphasized that the provision of modern operational vehicles would significantly improve the mobility and tactical reach of the Eko Strike Force, enabling officers to respond more swiftly to incidents and conduct more effective patrols.
The Commissioner further noted that such interventions not only boost the morale of personnel but also enhance public confidence in the police’s ability to maintain law and order.

He assured that the vehicles would be deployed efficiently to strengthen rapid response operations, targeted crime prevention initiatives, and community policing efforts across Lagos.
CP Jimoh also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Police Command and organizations like LSSTF in sustaining proactive policing and ensuring the safety of residents and visitors alike.
