The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, on Thursday, inspected security deployments at Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the territory.
The inspection, conducted on April 16, 2026, is part of proactive measures by the Command to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the ongoing examinations scheduled between April 16 and April 18.

During the exercise, the police commissioner assessed the adequacy of security arrangements put in place to safeguard candidates, examination officials, and facilities.
He also interacted with centre supervisors and assured them of sustained security coverage throughout the examination period.
CP Sanusi reiterated the Command’s commitment to maintaining law and order, warning that any attempt to disrupt the examination process would be met with decisive action in accordance with the law.

The Command further urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities through its emergency lines, as it reassured of it’s commitment to the protection of lives and property.
