The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, has presented cheques worth ₦30,552,851.16 to families of fallen police officers.
The presentation, which took place on Thursday as part of activities marking Day 4 of the 2026 Police Week, was aimed at honouring officers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty, while providing financial support to their bereaved families.
CP Ojajuni noted that the gesture reflects the unwavering commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to the welfare of its personnel and the families they leave behind.
The initiative also reinforces the enduring bond between the Force and its officers, both serving and deceased.
