The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Aniocha North Chapter, has presented a Toyota Corolla won as a star prize at the 2025 Delta State NULGE Day to the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Mr Emma Bazim Chinye.
The presentation took place on Monday at Council Secretariat.
Speaking during the event, the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Collins Nwabunwanne Ogwugwa, commended the chairman for his people-oriented policies and improved welfare of workers.
He said the administration had ensured a conducive working environment through steady electricity supply, environmental sanitation, and prompt payment of claims and imprest.
Ogwugwa noted that these measures had boosted staff morale and productivity.
In his response, Chinye thanked the union for the honour and returned all glory to God.
He said the achievement had inspired him to organise a raffle draw during his second anniversary.
The chairman reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining worker-friendly policies in the council.
