IGP Unveils POCACOV Digest Magazine to Drive Preventive Policing Campaign Nationwide

The Nigeria Police Force has strengthened its preventive policing campaign with the unveiling of the POCACOV Digest Magazine, a new publication designed to spotlight the achievements and nationwide impact of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) in tackling crime through public engagement and advocacy.
The magazine was officially unveiled by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, in a move that underscores the Force’s sustained commitment to using education, community participation and strategic partnerships as key tools in preventing crime.
The publication chronicles POCACOV’s achievements and activities across the country, highlighting its advocacy campaigns against cultism, drug abuse, cybercrime, bullying and other social vices. It also showcases initiatives aimed at empowering young people, fostering community involvement and strengthening collaborations with relevant stakeholders to curb criminality.
The Force noted that the unveiling of the magazine reflects its resolve to deepen preventive policing through sustained public enlightenment, innovative interventions and stronger stakeholder engagement in building safer and more secure communities nationwide.
