The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Adedotun Keshinro, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja, marking a significant milestone in his career and reinforcing his standing in Nigeria’s security architecture.
The honour was disclosed in a statement signed by the Civil Defence Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin, who described the award as a recognition of Keshinro’s outstanding contributions to national security and service excellence.
Keshinro received the fellowship during a formal conferment and investiture ceremony held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja, alongside senior military officers, including two generals, a colonel and an academic.

The recognition, according to the statement, aligns with the vision of the Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to raise a corps of highly skilled officers capable of representing the service with distinction at both national and global levels.
Reacting to the honour, Keshinro expressed gratitude to the NSCDC leadership for the opportunity to serve, noting that the recognition would further spur his dedication to duty.
He also commended his management team and officers in Lagos State for their support, which he said contributed to the achievement.

The commandant reaffirmed his commitment to intensifying efforts against infrastructure vandalism and other criminal activities in Lagos, stressing that the award would serve as motivation to deliver more impactful service.
He added that hard work remains the cornerstone of progress, pledging to continue strengthening the Corps’ operational effectiveness in safeguarding critical national assets and public safety.
