Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have intercepted an unregistered MAN diesel truck conveying 47 sacks of military camouflage uniforms and 80 cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit substances.
According to the police, the operation was carried out based on credible intelligence at an exit point in Lagos State, leading to the arrest of four suspects who are currently in police custody.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the military camouflage uniforms were allegedly being transported to the eastern part of the country.
The Command said investigations are ongoing to determine the source, ownership and intended recipients of the recovered military items and suspected illicit drugs, as well as establish the level of involvement of the arrested suspects.

Police authorities added that efforts are being intensified to track down and arrest other individuals connected to the criminal operation.
The recovered exhibits remain in police custody pending the conclusion of investigations.
