As Nigeria intensifies efforts to strengthen internal security and modernise policing operations, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Wednesday hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Nigeria, Tomáš Výprachtický, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, where both countries explored deeper security cooperation and institutional partnerships.
The diplomatic engagement focused on strengthening collaboration in critical areas including security cooperation, capacity building, and professional knowledge exchange between the Nigeria Police Force and relevant Czech institutions.
During the courtesy visit, the police chief stressed the importance of international partnerships in addressing evolving security threats and improving policing standards in Nigeria.
Disu also reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to working closely with global partners to enhance operational efficiency, promote professionalism, and ensure improved safety and security across the country.
The meeting, held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, is seen as part of ongoing diplomatic and security engagements aimed at fostering stronger bilateral relations and advancing institutional cooperation between Nigeria and the Czech Republic.
