The Nigeria Police Force has received a fresh boost to its operational capacity following the donation of protective gear by a United States-based ministry, in a move aimed at strengthening the safety of frontline officers.
The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, formally received the consignment on Tuesday at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The equipment was donated by Signal 63 Ministries through Fundamental Baptist Ministry International.
Commending the gesture, the police chief praised Bill Graham, alongside facilitators Philemon Sidi and his wife, for their commitment to improving officers’ welfare. He described the donation as a timely and critical intervention designed to enhance the safety and operational confidence of personnel on the frontlines.

Disu reiterated the Force’s commitment to equipping its officers with modern tools and resources necessary for effective service delivery. He stressed that prioritising the welfare and protection of personnel remains central to building a more resilient, professional, and responsive police institution.
