Family members, friends and well-wishers have paid glowing tributes to Prince Justin Ohabilo Dibie as the retired Deputy Director of the Delta State House of Assembly Commission marks his 80th birthday.
Prince Dibie, a member of the Royal Family of Onicha-Ugbo in Delta State, was celebrated for his contributions to public service, education and community development.
Born into Onicha-Ugbo royalty, Dibie built a career spanning both the private and public sectors. In the 1980s, he worked with Canon Beer Manufacturers in Abagana, Anambra State, before later joining the public service where he rose to the position of Deputy Director in the Delta State House of Assembly Commission.

His passion for education also led him into entrepreneurship as he established and managed a commercial school in the early 1990s, contributing to the development of young minds.
Beyond his professional achievements, family members described him as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who has remained committed to the ideals of peace, love and community service.

Blessed with seven children—six daughters and a son—Prince Dibie is widely regarded as a pillar of support to his family and community. He is also the father of Ozioma Sonia Odita-Sunday, wife of the Chief Executive Officer of Razor Media Group, Odita Sunday-Udemaguna.
Known for his deep sense of humour, friends and associates say his ability to lighten tense moments with laughter has endeared him to many across generations.
In a tribute issued by his family to commemorate his 80th birthday, they described him as “our peacemaker, our comedian and our blessing.”
According to the family, “You are our own comedian—no matter the situation, you always say something that makes us smile and laugh. Your humour turns heavy moments light.
“You are a man of peace. You love peace with all men, and even when people don’t understand you, you still choose love over trouble.”

The family further praised his kindness, gentleness and love for God, noting that his life remains a source of inspiration to younger generations.
As Prince Justin Ohabilo Dibie turns 80, those who know him say his enduring legacy lies not only in his professional accomplishments but also in the countless lives he has touched through service, compassion and laughter.
